Matthew Lobaugh, SAP Beyond Infrastructure Team at AWS chats with Savantis about why, by now, moving to the cloud is a no-brainer. Matt shares insights into why the conversation has moved from the ‘importance of migrating to the cloud’ to ‘how companies are fundamentally changing business models using cloud’.

 

Matthew has been in the SAP team since 2017 and today is part of the SAP Beyond Infrastructure team that focuses on how customers compliment their SAP use with AWS services to get more from their SAP investments. The Beyond for Business area focuses on Industry, line of business (LOB), and digital transformations, while the Beyond for Technology area focuses on how customers use the AWS platform and higher-level services.  Lastly, the team works with SAP Beyond Partners that have offerings that help customers better integrate, run, and manage their SAP investments on AWS. Over-all, Matthew has been in the enterprise technology industry for more than 20 years with prior roles at SAP, Schneider Electric, Oracle, and Hewlett Packard. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to share with you that the health and safety of Savantis Solutions clients, employees, and the communities we serve is our top priority. In this regard, the State of Pennsylvania has announced mitigation efforts for COVID-19, especially for Montgomery County PA which has seen the highest number of cases in the state so far.

Here’s an excerpt from the official announcement by Gov. Tom Wolf.

“In Montgomery County, we are aggressively moving to a mitigation phase, and statewide we are providing guidance to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus,”

Following the guidance, the staff at our US offices will be working remotely until further notice. We assure you that it will be business as usual with no disruption. We will continue to monitor this rapidly changing situation and notify you of any further changes.
